My most recent art project involves creating sound-image essays. My goal is to stimulate thought about our world and our place in it. These essays are intended as a form of experience to intensify of becoming present to others — people, animals, nature. Oblivious to the dictates of polished technicality, indifferent to the punctilious gaze of the musical connoisseur, these essays operate on the values of Outsider Art. I seek the discoveries rooted in naivety, and rejoice in the exuberance of innocence.

The face as sign.
The face as stranger.
The face as wound.
The face as healing.
The face as heretic.
The face as beacon.
The face as One.
The face of another -- human or animal -- is an irreducible appeal to justice.
